Magic Mike is very much like a Disney movie… they both dispense the same values! Let’s start with the main one: romantic love. That’s pretty Disney-tastic in and of itself! Add on lessons about friendship, commitment, morals, growing up and not purchasing a pack of narcotics without knowing how many you’re buying and you’ve got all the fixings for a magical adventure with lovable, anthropomorphised strippers. And I’m not too sure where this fits in, but it also teaches you that breakfast is a key component in having a healthy relationship. By the end of it, I had a hard time distinguishing the film from The Lion King!
If that isn’t enough to convince you that this movie is chalk full of Disney magic, well, there’s always the good looking, half naked guys to ogle at.
